Udaipur massacre: NIA registers murder case of Kanhaiyalal under UAPA

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has re-registered a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act (UAPA) in connection with the murder of a tailor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur. This information was given by the spokesperson of NIA. He said the NIA had registered a case in connection with the murder of Kanhaiyalal Teli in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The NIA team has reached Udaipur and initiated necessary action for immediate investigation into the matter.

Rajasthan police arrested Apoori Riaz Ansari and Mohammad Gaus from Rajsamand district 6-7 hours after the incident. He is being questioned. On the other hand, after the brutal murder of tailor Kanhaiyalal, a state of tension has arisen across Rajasthan. Curfew has been imposed in many areas. A large number of police force has been deployed in Udaipur. Kanhaiyalal's wife Yashoda, who was killed in her own shop in Udaipur, has demanded that the accused be hanged. Yashoda says he had been receiving death threats for 15 days. On the other hand, Kanhaiyalal's nephew has also demanded justice.

The NIA said the accused not only inflicted multiple injuries with weapons but also tried to spread terrorism across the country by sharing videos of the crime on social media. The accused have also claimed responsibility for the crime in the video. The accused had earlier threatened to kill Kanhaiyalal.
