Leaders are often the victims of the wrath of the poor who are unable to convey their grievances to the local system. However, the respect of the leader who handles the situation and disposes of the question without delay is increasing.

The same thing happened in Benaras with Union Minister Smriti Irani. Irani visited the sanitation campaign in Sikral village of Varanasi. Meanwhile, a woman had approached the minister to move a pile of dung near her house.

The woman also said that the garbage near her house was bad as her daughter was getting married a few days later. Even though this work belongs to the local body of the gram panchayat, Minister Smriti Irani started removing the garbage himself by ordering a shovel. Seeing the Union Minister turning the shovel to remove the garbage, other activists and people also joined in the work. Within a few minutes, the pile of rubbish that had been lying around for months was cleared.

The word spread not only in the village but in the whole area. He lauded the Union Minister's approach of immediate disposal on the spot instead of listening to the problem. Union ministers visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency from time to time, but for Smriti Irani, the visit to Sikral village was memorable.
