The people of this village in Assam have been practicing magic for centuries, the mantra knows how to disappear

Mayog village in the state of Assam, formerly known as Kamru Desh, is known in the country as the land of black magic. Surprisingly, the main source of employment for the people of this village is magic. In every house in the village, one person practices magic sorcery. Mayog, 60 km from Guwahati, is home to more than 100 magicians. The magicians of this village are also believed to know the art of disappearing into the air. Not only this, with the help of hypnosis you can make violent animals into pets. Even today there is a folklore that the Mayang people can take the form of any animal.


Not only that, man also knows the art of making a pet like a goat or a dog. The people of Myong village have been practicing magic since ancient times. The art has survived as the people of the village have been passing on the knowledge of magic to generations.

A museum related to witchcraft has been set up in the village


Some tourists from Myong village near Pabitra Century Park visit for curiosity. In 2007, a museum was opened to showcase and provide information on many items associated with the tradition of witchcraft. The museum houses many historical relics of the art of magic. Magic lovers find old ancient books and materials related to black magic. There is something carved on the 3 meter long rock in the mag that no one has been able to solve till now.
