Owaisi's AIMIM party splits in Bihar: Four out of five MLAs to join RJD

In Bihar, Asaduddin Owaisi's party has broken up. Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav has confirmed the joining of 4 MLAs from Owaisi's party. Four MLAs from Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM will join RJD.

Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Tejaswi Yadav suddenly reached the room of Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha and met 4 AIMIM MLAs. Meanwhile, all the MLAs of Owaisi's party except Akhtarul Iman were present.

The party's MLAs joining RJD include Kochadhaman MLA Mohammad Izhar Asfi, Jokihat MLA Shahnabaz Alam, Bayasi MLA Ruknuddin Ahmed and Bahadurganj MLA Anjar Naimi.


It will be the largest party, leaving the BJP behind.

With the joining of four MLAs from Owaisi's party, RJD will become the largest party in Bihar, leaving the BJP behind. The RJD will now have 79 MLAs in the Assembly, while the BJP will be the second largest party with 77 MLAs.
