Our family's life in danger: Shinde's allegations against Raut, Congress, NCP

Guwahati dated 25 June 2022, Saturday

At a time when there is a crisis of numbers against the Maharashtra government, a cross-party battle between party chief and chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and rebel leader Eknath Shinde seems to have begun.

On Friday, Thackeray had said that those who wanted to leave the party could go and re-sit the Shiv Sena. Today, Eknath Shinde tweeted a letter to the Chief Minister and the state police chief complaining that the state government had illegally withdrawn the security of the families of party MLAs and endangered their lives. Shinde has a two-page letter signed by 38 MLAs and has written this letter on the letterhead of the Shiv Sena Legislative Party.

What does Shinde claim in this letter?

Rebelling against the party, Shinde, who was staying at a hotel in Guwahati with about 40 members, claimed that the security provided to members and family at the residence had been illegally withdrawn. Threatened in this way, coming to intimidate the family.

Shinde criticized the Congress, the NCP

In the letter, Shinde said the NCP and Congress were pressuring the state government to withdraw security. It is also possible that these elements may lead to violence.

Also mentioning Sanjay Raut

The letter, posted on Shinde's tweet, also targeted senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Raut makes a statement that I will make it impossible for MLAs who do not return to Mumbai to arrive, making it difficult for them to return to the state. Such a statement shows that our family's life is in danger.
