Punjab Congress: Navjot Singh Sidhu withdraws resignation, puts condition on CM Charanjit Singh Channy

The political movement in the Punjab Congress is still going on. Due to Navjot Singh Sidhu the time of confusion continues and the equation is changing every year. Now Navjot Singh Sidhu has withdrawn his resignation. They are saying that when the new AG comes to Punjab, they will take back their responsibility.

Just a few days ago, when Navjot Sidhu resigned, it was only a week since Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channy took over as CM. Navjot Sidhu objected that the AGs and DGs who have been appointed cannot take impartial action on the issue of rudeness. Navjot Singh Sidhu had demanded his removal but when his demand was not heeded, he resigned as Punjab Congress president.

Now Sidhu has softened his stance again. He has withdrawn his resignation but is still adamant. They will rejoin the office but only when the new AG-DG arrives. Sidhu asserted that the Congress government in Punjab was formed to look into the issue of drugs and indecency but as Amarinder Singh did nothing about it, he resigned. In his view, CM Channy has the same responsibility and he should fulfill it.
