Millions will starve if Russia does not lift blockade: Zelensky

- Ukraine exported 6 million tons of wheat months before the war

- Ukraine and Western nations accuse Russia of arming food supplies

Kiev: Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky says Russia's blockade could starve millions. He said the whole world was facing the threat of a food crisis. This is because Ukraine has been unable to export large quantities of wheat, corn, oil and other products, which has played a key role in stabilizing the global market. Zelensky said that unfortunately production in dozens of countries around the world could decline.

Millions could starve if Putin's blockade of the Black Sea continues.

Russia has captured a large part of Ukraine's coastline in a nearly 12-week war. As a result, Ukraine's agricultural exports have stalled. Ukraine and the West have accused Moscow of using the food supply as a weapon. Russia has said in a statement that Ukraine's mines at sea are responsible for Moscow and international sanctions.

Blaming Russia for the blockade, Zelensky said that while we were testing the method of defending freedom, someone else was destroying it. Another person continues to blackmail the world with hunger. Ukraine exported 5 million tonnes of foodgrains a month before Russia launched its invasion on February 6.

Russia is currently waging a one-on-one offensive to seize Donbass, while Ukraine is desperately trying to save Donbass. But Ukraine currently has a very small share of the Donbass.
