The murder of Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur, has caused a stir across the country. Meanwhile, expelled BJP leader Naveen Kumar Jindal has also been threatened with death like Kanhaiyalal. Naveen Kumar Jindal tweeted the threat. He tweeted that he had received threats in the mail this morning. Naveen Kumar Jindal tweeted in support of Nupur Sharma's remarks about the Prophet Mohammad. Because of this he was also embroiled in controversy and the BJP expelled him from the party.

Naveen Kumar Jindal tweeted that he received an email at around 06:43 this morning. It had a video of Kanhaiyalal's murder. My family and I have been similarly threatened with death. I have informed about this in the police control room. The DCP of East Delhi, the Special Cell of Delhi Police and the Commissioner of Police should take immediate note of the matter. Threats to Naveen Kumar Jindal have raised concerns. Especially at a time when a heinous massacre has taken place in Udaipur. Due to which there is an atmosphere of mourning and anger in the whole country.

Naveen Kumar Jindal also shared screenshots of the email with his tweet. One of them wrote, 'Terrorist Naveen Kumar, now it's your turn. We will cut your throat very soon. '
