Bihar: Drugs inspector's raid found 4 crore cash, 5 kg gold, 3 kg silver, documents

A major corruption case has been uncovered in Bihar's capital Patna. Millions of rupees have been recovered from the house of a drugs inspector in a case of disproportionate assets. The surveillance team raided the house of Drugs Inspector Jitendra Kumar in Khan Mirza area of ​​Sultanganj Thana area of ​​Patna City.

Several items including large amount of cash, crores of land documents, gold-silver jewelery, 4 luxury cars were seized during the raid. The monitoring department conducted simultaneous raids at four places, including Patna, on Saturday.

A case of disproportionate assets was filed against Drugs Inspector Jitendra Kumar and the action was taken after the court approved the raid.


Machine ordered for cash calculation

It was learned that about Rs 4 crore cash was recovered from the house at Sultanganj. Cash counting machines were ordered but the cash could not be counted even on Saturday. Due to this, the cash count will continue on Sunday as well.

Apart from that, diamonds, about 5 kg of gold and 3 kg of silver have been seized from the jewelery found at Jitendra Kumar's house. Land and flat documents have also been seized.

Complaints were constantly being received

It is alleged that Drug Inspector Jitendra Kumar committed massive corruption during his government job. There were constant complaints against him. When the state government investigated the allegations against Jitendra Kumar, it turned out to be true. The monitoring department then took action against Kumar and raided his four locations on Saturday.
