At the coronary Sonia Gandhi Hospital, Rahul will appear before the ED today

New Delhi, Dt

Congress president Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Delhi's Sir Gangaram Hospital on Sunday following a corona-related problem. His condition here is currently stable. He will be kept under surveillance for several days, said Congress general secretary and chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewal. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi will appear before the ED on Monday following the summons in the money laundering case.

Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewale said on Twitter that Congress president Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital today due to a corona-related problem. His health is stable and he will be kept under observation in the hospital. We thank all the Congress leaders-workers and women as well as well-wishers who are concerned about their health.

On June 2, 8-year-old Sonia Gandhi was found to be positive. He was scheduled to appear before the ED on June 9 in a money laundering case. However, he has asked the ED for more time. The ED has now issued a fresh summons to him to appear on June 9.

The ED has also summoned Rahul Gandhi along with Sonia Gandhi in a money laundering case regarding the National Herald-Associated Journals Ltd. deal. Accusing the BJP of politics of revenge, veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Sunday said that Rahul Gandhi would appear before the ED on Monday morning. He will be present at the ED office in the morning from the Congress headquarters. Congress MPs and members of the executive committee will be present in the party office at this time.

Asked whether Congress MPs and members of the executive along with Rahul Gandhi would march to the ED's office, Digvijay said no decision has been taken yet. The executive committee will discuss with the local administration and then decide whether some leaders will go with Rahul Gandhi.

He claimed that the ED had closed the case in 2012 after finding no facts in the case. No FIR has been registered in this case so far. There is no evidence. This is only the policy of the present government to put pressure on Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. The present government raises false charges for political revenge, but the Gandhi family will not bow down to the government.
