New Delhi, June 25, 2022, Saturday

The Kerala government is facing a major setback following the vandalism of the office of former Congress president and Kerala MP Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad.

Now 19 activists of the Student Federation of India, the student wing of the ruling Marxist Communist Party, have been arrested in the case. All are activists from Wayanad. Some more are likely to be arrested in the case.

Rahul Gandhi's office was vandalized on Friday and hours later the government ordered an inquiry into the matter. A police officer has also been suspended in the case.

The move comes in the wake of a recent Supreme Court order by the Student Federation of India. Which is likely to displace many people.

Activists of the Student Federation of India staged a rally in protest of the verdict, during which they broke into Rahul Gandhi's office and vandalized it.

On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to the Prime Minister to allay the concerns of the people regarding the verdict.
