"We are still watching the trailer of the war on the Pakistan-China border. In this age of information technology, war is being fought through cyberspace and IT networks and the battlefield of the future will be prepared on its basis," Indian Army Chief General Narwane said in a statement. .
"Amidst the challenges posed by Pakistan and China, India will continue to strive to achieve its strategic goals. The possibility of a major war in the future cannot be ruled out," he said in an online seminar.
The Army Chief, without naming China and Pakistan, said that the Indian Army was working on whatever resources were needed in view of the disputed borders and proxy war with its nuclear-armed neighbors. We have to prepare for war on the basis of this very reality.
Army Chief Narwane held a meeting with top Army officials to review the situation.
