New delhi date. 18. Friday, February 2022

The UP government had decided to recover the damage caused to government property during the protests against the CAA in UP.

The protesters were issued notices by the UP government for this. However, after the matter went to the apex court, the apex court asked them to quash the notices.

The UPA government, meanwhile, responded to the court by saying that notices issued to anti-CAA protesters had been withdrawn.

It is worth mentioning that in the UP in 2019, violent demonstrations against the CAA in the UP were damaged in public and private assets and in different places police registered police complaints against 833 equipers.
