Some Indian leaders are lashing out at China for their own benefit: Global Times

Beijing, Ta. 5. January 2022 Wednesday

At the beginning of the new year, Indian and Chinese soldiers exchanged sweets on the border.

However, as has always been the custom, China has soured relations between the two countries by unnecessarily propagating its flag in the Galvan Valley.

Even then, China is not shying away from its moves. China's state-run newspaper Global Times has now written that the tradition of exchanging sweets, which had been stalled for two years, has resumed. They have not been able to influence the Modi government's foreign policy but opposition to it is growing.

The newspaper writes that Indian politics is also divided like American politics. Some anti-China leaders are squabbling over India-China relations for their own benefit in India. They are creating anti-China mentality among the people.

The newspaper said that India's PM wants to make India a પાંચ 5 trillion economy by 2025 and this shows that India's first priority is development and not war.

The Global Times, in an unsolicited advice to India, said that India should maintain open relations with China. " Asia is giving more importance to India in the Pacific region but the educated class of India should understand that the real intention of US and Western countries is to take advantage of the conflict between India and China.

According to the newspaper, when Jinping and Narendra Modi met, it was emphasized that China wants India's development along with itself and the two countries should help each other to achieve their goals.

Referring to the growing trade between India and China, the article said that India and China can benefit each other without political interference. Indian politics has always been dominated by market demand. There is no need to turn New Year's sweets into gun bullets. It will not only benefit India but it will do more harm.
