Budget 2022: Presentation of Economic Survey by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

The budget session of Parliament has started from today. The first session of the year began with the President’s address. The President addressed both the houses. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman then presented the Economic Survey (2021-22). Following the Corona epidemic, members of Parliament will be given a digital copy of the Economic Survey and Budget this time around.

Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey 2021-22 in the Lok Sabha. Due to the commotion, the Lok Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 11:00 am on Tuesday.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey on the floor of the House. Opposition groups called for a halt to the protests. Speaker Om Bidla said, “There is a digital parliament and now with your cooperation, digital work will be done in the parliament.”

When Lok Sabha Speaker Om Bidla mentioned the name of the Finance Minister for presenting the economic review, he could not pronounce it properly and said ‘Nirmalata Sitharamanji’.
