Rewards increase on my head every Friday, I adopt Sanatan Dharma today: Wasim Rizvi


- Rizvi made his will public a few days ago stating that he should not be buried after death but should be cremated according to Hindu rites.

Wasim Rizvi, who has been one of the leading Muslim figures in Uttar Pradesh, has converted from Islam to Hinduism. Today at Ghaziabad, Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati introduced him to Sanatan Dharma. Wasim Rizvi said, "I have been expelled from Islam. Every Friday, the amount of reward is increased on my head. Today, I am adopting Sanatan Dharma."

Tyagi will be involved in the community

Wasim Rizvi had already announced that on Monday he would leave Islam and join Sanatan Dharma. On this occasion, Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati said that he is with Wasim Rizvi and Wasim Rizvi will join the Tyagi community.

Wasim Rizvi, the former chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board, announced that he was leaving Islam to convert to Hinduism. He said that Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati, the mahant of Dasna Devi temple, would involve him in Sanatan Dharma.

Wills were under discussion

Wasim Rizvi made his will public a few days ago. It declared that they should not be buried after death but should be cremated according to Hindu rites and their bodies should be cremated. "Some people want to kill him and he has declared that my (Rizvi's) body will not be allowed to be buried in any cemetery after his death," said Wasim Rizvi. Therefore their earthly bodies should be cremated in the cremation ground.

Demand to remove 26 imports from Quran

Wasim Rizvi, who has called for reform in Islam, remains in the spotlight through his statements and activities. He claims to have received several threats because of this. Wasim Rizvi had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking removal of 26 imports of the Quran. The case was heard in the Supreme Court but the court rejected his plea. Wasim Rizvi has since been targeted by Muslim organizations.
