Heavy rain alert in Andh Odisha amid fears of Jawad hurricane



Hurricanes will hit the coastal states causing deep depression in the Bay of Bengal. Hurricane Jawad will hit Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal from December 4 and December 5. Due to this, rescue teams have been deployed in these states by issuing high alert. Schools and colleges will be closed for two days.

After that, by late night, the wind speed will reach 100 kilometers per hour. People have been urged to evacuate from coastal areas as the storm is expected to hit the coast on December 5 and wreak havoc.
In Andhra Pradesh, schools and colleges will be closed for two days due to Jawad. In addition, 6 trains departing on 4th and 5th December have been canceled. A total of 6 trains will be canceled in two days in the three states. The first hurricane will hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh. It will then move towards Odisha and from there it will disintegrate on reaching West Bengal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the preparations for the storm. Information was obtained from officials of the states affected by the hurricane. Atul Karwal, DG, National Disaster Response Force, said that six teams have been deployed in the three states affected by the cyclone. As soon as the hurricane hits, 4 teams will start relief work. After that, if need be, 15 other teams will be fielded.
