Fear of Nawaz Sharif's return haunts Imran Khan even today

- Nawaz Sharif was convicted in corruption case, then granted bail for 4 weeks for treatment in 2019 but did not return

Islamabad: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is set to return to Pakistan. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is worried about this. However, he hinted yesterday (Thursday) that he and the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) would make a secret deal. Only then are they likely to return to Pakistan. He told reporters in the corridors of the parliament building that he had returned home from Saudi Arabia in 2007 under a previous deal.

When asked about Sharif's return, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rashid Ahmed said it was pointless. The opposition spreads such fabrications to get the attention of the media. In fact, we have asked Nawaz Sharif to give us a one-way ticket to return to Pakistan

It is well known that Nawaz Sharif was jailed by a Pakistani court in a corruption case. However, in 2012, the court allowed him to go abroad for treatment for only four weeks, but he has not returned yet.

With this comes the question of whether Sharif will be re-arrested if he returns. At the same time, his arrest is likely to provoke riots across the country by his party workers. It is therefore more likely that, if his party comes to power, the case against him will be withdrawn. So what will happen to Imran? Imran is terrified of this future.
