Aung San Suu Kyi has been sentenced by a Myanmar court to four years in prison. He will no longer be able to run in the next elections. Eight-year-old Aung San Suu Kyi has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. His life is full of ups and downs.
- Aung San Suu Kyi returned to Myanmar from abroad in 19th. It was the first time he had participated in a demonstration for democracy.
- Suu Kyi was incarcerated in 19. He remained in custody for 15 years. In the meantime, he has been fighting for the values of democracy in Myanmar.
- In 191, the Nobel Committee awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his tireless efforts for peace.
- Suu Kyi's team was attacked during a political tour in 2007, in which her supporters were killed.

- Aung San Suu Kyi is released from prison in 2010
- In 2014, Suu Kyi's party won one seat for the first time in elections.
- In the elections held in 2012, his party became the winner and the helm of the country came in his hands.
- Crisis of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar in 2014. The military action forced the Rohingya to flee the country. He and his party were heavily criticized on the issue.
- Re-election in 2020 and his party won a historic majority.
- Before the parliamentary session was scheduled to take place in February 2021, a military coup took place and most of the party leaders including him were arrested.
Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced by a Myanmar court to four years in prison on December 6, 1991. Because of this punishment, they will no longer be able to run in the next election.
