Bihar is one of the richest states in the country. The government got gold reserves

Bihar is estimated to have 44% of the country's total gold reserves

Patna: There is news of relief for Bihar, which has the status of the most backward state in the country. Gold mines have been discovered in Bihar and there is more gold in it than anywhere else in the country so far. West Champaran in Bihar and Gaya district have gold reserves.

In the meantime, all of this has been done under the auspices of the United Nations Framework Classification, which has increased its credibility. Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Jaiswal shared the reply given by Minerals Minister Prahad Joshi in the Lok Sabha on Twitter.

It quoted the Union Minister as saying that the country has a total of 501.83 tonnes of primary gold reserves and 654.74 tonnes of gold ore. In Bihar alone, 44 per cent of the gold was found to be in the state.

After the secession of Jharkhand, Bihar was almost zero in terms of minerals. Now two important mineral deposits have been discovered in Gaya and Rohtas districts of the state. The state government is trying to expedite mining in these areas.

Bihar BJP president Sanjay Jaiswal asked a question in the Lok Sabha and Union Minister of Mines Prahad Joshi replied. Thus finding gold from Bihar will probably bring it out of the abyss of backwardness and poverty.
