Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday hosted a Diwali dinner for guests from a school in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, at his official residence in New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi visited the school earlier this year during the Assembly election campaign.

Located in Mulgumudu, the school is called St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School. It was in this school that Rahul Gandhi did push-ups.
