Very good performance of BJP ruled states in vaccination campaign

BJP states have given the first dose of vaccine to 90 per cent people

Negligence of Congress-ruled states: More than 50 per cent people have not yet been given a second dose of vaccine

New Delhi: The BJP-ruled states have done very well in the ongoing national campaign to vaccinate the people of the country against corona, while government figures show that the states ruled by the Congress and its allies have been negligent in carrying out the campaign.

According to the data released by the government today, 50 per cent of the people in the eight BJP-ruled states have been given both doses of the vaccine, while seven of them have been given both the doses of the vaccine to 90 per cent of the people.

None of the targets set by the BJP-ruled states in the vaccination drive have been achieved by the states ruled by the Congress or its allies which shows their negligence, high-ranking sources said on Monday.

States ruled by some opposition parties are currently demanding booster doses but the shocking thing is that those states have not yet been able to provide adequate doses of vaccine to their people. In fact, these states are also politicizing the issue of vaccination, which is sad, the sources said.

The BJP has always accused the opposition of playing politics on the issue of vaccination campaign, and some even questioned the credibility of the two vaccines produced in the country. Sources in the vaccination statistics said that in Congress-ruled Punjab, 72 per cent people have been given first dose of vaccine while only 32 per cent people have been given second dose.

In Jharkhand, another Congress state, 66 per cent people have been given the first dose of the vaccine and only 30 per cent have been given both doses. Similarly in Tamil Nadu 78 per cent people have been given first dose and 42 per cent people have been given both doses, in Maharashtra 80 per cent people have been given first dose and 42 per cent people have been given both doses while in Chhattisgarh 83 per cent people have been given first dose and 47 per cent people have been given both dose.
