New Delhi: The central government has announced the repeal of agricultural laws. However, there have been protests by farmers over the law and other issues for support prices. In the midst of this situation, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Union government was ready to reverse its decision to make straw burning a crime. At the same time, he urged the farmers to return now after completing the agitation.

Tomar said farmers demanded that legislation be enacted for support prices. The government is ready to form a panel to meet this demand. The panel was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself on November 19. While it is up to the state governments, not the central government, to decide on the demand for withdrawal of cases filed against farmers during the agitation.

The bill was drafted by the Union Cabinet to repeal agricultural laws. The bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The bill will be introduced in the winter session of Parliament. The winter session is set to begin on Monday during which the Union Agriculture Minister will introduce the bill in the Lok Sabha.

On the other hand, the United Kisan Morcha, which is leading the agitation by farmers on the borders of Delhi, has said that the planned march to Parliament on November 29 is currently being withdrawn. This means that no march will be taken out by the farmers towards the Parliament on 29th November.

However, he demanded that the central government accept the demands for legislation on support prices. Farmers in Lakhimpur Khiri have demanded action against Union Minister Ajay Mishra for allegedly driving cars over them. The matter will be decided on December 4, the United Kisan Morcha said.

The United Kisan Morcha is ready to cancel the tractor rally, though Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait said, "We will not cancel this tractor march." He also called on 500 farmers to come to the Ghazipur border every day. Tikait has announced that 500 people with 30 tractors will march towards Parliament. The rally will be held on November 29, the first day of the winter session in Parliament.
