This information was given by Union Minister Jitendra Prasad after the completion of the month-long campaign. He further said that 15,23,464 files were viewed during the campaign, out of which 13,73,204 files were found to be useful and the remaining files were found to be unusable and were sold in the trash.

During this time, 3,28,204 files were viewed, representations were made and 2,91,692 files were resolved. 685 of the 834 rules were simplified during the campaign.

The campaign was launched as per the Prime Minister's order under the Smooth and Simple Management Scheme sponsored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The scheme will benefit both the general public and the government system, Singh said. The campaign was launched to resolve cases pending for years as per the Prime Minister's order.

The progress report will now be submitted to the Prime Minister in the next one week, he added. Describing the campaign as a special achievement, Jitendra Singh said that 8 lakh square feet of space has been vacated in government offices by cleaning and four buildings like Rashtrapati Bhavan can be erected in such space as the floor area of ​​Rashtrapati Bhavan is 2 lakh square feet.
