Ramayana Yatra: First train reaches Ayodhya carrying devotees, welcome after flower year


Ayodhya, Ta. Monday 8 November 2021

The first train of Shri Ramayana Yatra started from IRCTC reached Ayodhya Cantt station at 9 am on Monday. The train was carrying 132 devotees from different parts of India. The railway administration welcomed the devotees by showering flowers on them.

The devotees aboard the train said that Ayodhya and Shriram live in our hearts. Reaching Ayodhya today, our life was blessed. Some other devotees said that the grand construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is being done with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is a matter of good fortune for the country.

All the devotees appreciated the facilities available in the train by rail. People thought it was like a five star hotel. Devotees arriving by special train will pay obeisance at Sri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanumangarhi and Saryu coast in Ayodhya. Apart from this, Puri will tour Ayodhya and also go to Nandigram.


IRCTC has arranged 4 luxury buses for the pilgrims. The train will leave for Varanasi at 4:30 pm on Tuesday. No public representative of the district was present to welcome the devotees.

As soon as they got out of the train, the devotees chanted Jai Shriram and said that the way Ayodhya is being developed. That is admirable. Ayodhya is becoming the cultural capital of our country.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been trying to take over Ayodhya since the beginning of his tenure. The fifth Dipotsav was celebrated in the city this time on November 3. Dipotsav has given a different identity to Ayodhya.

A devout couple took a selfie with the train to make their trip memorable. With the operation of this train, devotees in the country will be able to reach Ayodhya. The best arrangements have been made to visit Ayodhya too.
