- No one was hurt as the duty bearers at the gate were a little far away

New delhi date. Monday, November 22, 2021

The unidentified assailants hurled a grenade at the Triveni Dwar gate of Pathankot's military area late at night around 1:00 p.m. No casualties were reported in the case and police have issued an alert in the entire district. All the senior police officers including SSP Pathankot Surinder Lamba have reached the spot and are investigating. Apart from that, an attempt is being made to get information with the help of CCTV footage around the military area.

It is learned that on Sunday night, motorcyclists hurled a grenade at the army's Triveni gate on the way to Dheera from Kathwala bridge in Pathankot. This caused an explosion there. No one was hurt, though, as the gatekeeper was a short distance away. No details were available on where the grenade-throwing bikers came from or where they went.

Police officers rushed to the spot as soon as the blast was reported. Police have issued a red alert across the district and police officers have been deployed at the checkpoints.
