Petrol-diesel price hike continues ઃ LPG price hike

For the fourth day in a row, both petrol and diesel prices have been hiked by 3 paise. At the same time, petrol and diesel prices have reached new heights across the country. Due to high VAT in Madhya Pradesh, petrol price has crossed Rs 150 in some areas. On the other hand, according to sources, prices of not only domestic LPG but also commercial gas cylinders are likely to go up from November 1.

Due to the rise in crude oil prices, petrol has gone up by Rs 6.5 per liter and diesel by Rs 3 per liter in October. Now LPG prices are likely to rise. According to sources, the country's oil marketing companies are losing Rs 100 per cylinder at the current price of LPG cylinders due to rising prices in the international market.

At the same time, after today's price hike, the price of a liter of petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 106.5 and the price of a liter of diesel has gone up to Rs 2.09. In Mumbai, the price of a liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 113.15 and a liter of diesel to Rs 103.5.

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the fourth day in a row today. Prior to that, there was no change in petrol and diesel prices from October 3 to October 4. Even before October 8, petrol and diesel prices were hiked for four days in a row.

It may be mentioned that petrol has crossed Rs 100 in most parts of the country while diesel has also crossed Rs 100 in 12 states. Ganganagar in Rajasthan has the highest petrol and diesel prices in the country. In Ganganagar, petrol price has been hiked to Rs 121.5 and diesel to Rs 114.5.

Petrol price has been hiked by Rs 2.15 per liter since September 8. Diesel price has been hiked by Rs 4.5 per liter since September 4. During the period from May 4 to July 15, petrol price was hiked by Rs 11.5 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.15 per liter.
