Kartarpur Sahib corridor to be reopened from tomorrow

New Delhi: Just days before Guru Parva, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given good news to Sikh devotees. In view of Guru-Parva, tomorrow, Dat. It has been decided to reopen Kartarpur Sahib corridor from 19th.

Therefore, a large number of devotees of the Sikh community will be able to visit this holy place of the Sikhs within about 3 km from the Indian border in Pakistan.

In fact, this corridor was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on November 9, 2016. But due to Corona, on March 12, 2020, both India and Pakistan agreed to close the corridor. But now this corridor is going to Corona's care. It will be open from November 15. Therefore, everyone has applauded the decision of the Modi government to open this corridor on the eve of Gurudev Nanak's birthday on November 15.

In fact, the BJP delegation went to meet the Prime Minister to open the corridor. Among them were 16 leaders including state president Ashwini Sharma, national vice president Saudan Singh, general secretary Tarun Chugh and Dushyant Gautam.

Rs. 1,6,500 was spent for the construction of Kartarpur Gurudwara Sahib. All these expenses were borne by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. It was repaired by the government of Pakistan in the 19th century and was fully equipped in 2006. It is said that Gurudev Nanak Saheb was the first to start langar from here in which adequate food was given to everyone without any discrimination on the basis of caste or gender.
