But for the present government, Purvanchal (East-Uttar Pradesh) is just as necessary. Bihar is also set to benefit from this expressway. The uniqueness of this expressway is that it will connect Lucknow with those cities where there is immense potential for development. So, even if the Yogi government, behind this X-Press Way, Rs. More than Rs 6,000 crore has been spent but this expressway will help in bringing investment of thousands of crores of rupees.

The Prime Minister further said that this is the first time such work is being done since independence. This is the first time that urban connectivity has been given such priority. You must know that wherever good roads reach highways, the pace of development accelerates, employment is created and that too at the same pace. He further said that good connectivity was essential for the industrial development of Uttar Pradesh. It is necessary to connect one corner of Uttar Pradesh. The yogi government has started working with the mantra of Sabka Vikas without any discrimination, without familism or without entryism or racism.
