Fire in ICU of Maharashtra Government Hospital, 10 patients killed, 15 injured

A fire at a government hospital in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, has killed at least 10 patients, while others are feared to have been burnt. The death toll could rise further.

Other patients are being shifted to other hospitals. There have been fires in hospitals in Maharashtra before but the system does not seem to be serious about this, which is causing patients to lose their lives.

Earlier, innocent children were killed in a fire at a government hospital in Maharashtra's Bhandara district.

The cause of the fire in the ICU of the government hospital in Ahmednagar is yet to be ascertained. As many as 15 patients were injured in the accident. 20 patients have been shifted to another hospital.
