Wankhede visited the NCB headquarters

New Delhi: NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede visited the NCB headquarters in New Delhi and met senior NCB officials there. According to officials, Wankhede came to the NCB headquarters for official work.

However, it was not known whether he met NCB Director General SN Pradhan Arthwa and Deputy Director General (Northern Region) Gyaneshwar Singh during the visit.

Wankhede and his team arrested actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Iron Khan and seven others in a drugs case on October 3. So far, 20 people have been arrested in the case. Earlier, Wankhede had met the chairman of the New Delhi-based National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC).

Wankhede, who is facing charges of getting a job on the basis of a fake caste certificate, presented evidence of being a Dalit at the NCSC office today. In this regard, NCSC chairman Vijay Sampala said that the certificates submitted by Wankhede would be verified with the Maharashtra government.
