Closing schools increased the risk of gender inequality as education deteriorated

According to a recent UNESCO report, the closure of schools by Corona has adversely affected the learning process of children as well as gender equality. Corona has adversely affected the education of 1.5 billion students in 150 countries.

According to the report, online education has become less available for girls as they are given less mobile phones than girls. As other schools are closed, girls are forced to do more housework than boys and their education is deteriorating more than that of boys.

Meanwhile, the central government has allowed the Serum Institute of India to export 6 million doses of the corona vaccine Covishield to Nepal, Tajikistan and Mozambique under the UN-backed Covex Global Vaccine Program, official sources said in a statement.

In the last 3 hours, 10.5 new cases of corona have been reported in India. For the ninth day in a row, the number of new cases of corona has been below 20,000. While for the 13th day in a row, the corona has increased. The number of active cases has come down by 316 in the last three hours.

The National Covid-12 recovery rate has been 6.50%. Which is the highest since March, 2020. The daily positive rate has been 0.5 per cent. Which has been below 2% for the last 3 days. While the weekly positive rate has been 0.2 percent. Which has been below 2% for the last 3 days. So far, the number of doses given for the vaccine has crossed 114.50 crore.

Out of the 212 deaths that occurred today, 4 deaths occurred in Kerala while 12 deaths occurred in Maharashtra. Out of the total death toll of 4,3,8 in Corona, 1,20,8 deaths were in Maharashtra, 4,12 deaths in Karnataka, 4,8 deaths in Kerala, 2,81 deaths in Tamil Nadu, 2,09 deaths in Delhi, 2,409 deaths in Uttar Pradesh and 14 deaths. 3 deaths have occurred in West Bengal.
