China gave Pakistan the most sophisticated warship to increase its dominance in the sea

Beijing, Ta. 3
China has challenged the Indian navy by increasing its presence in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea in the last few years and has now given Pakistan the largest and most sophisticated warship to put the Indian navy in trouble. With the help of this frigate, the strength of the Pakistan Navy will increase tremendously. The warship, designed and built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, was handed over to the Pakistani navy at a commission ceremony in Shanghai, according to a Global Times report.
The Pakistan Navy has named the Type 07A / P frigate PNS Tugril. The Navy said the Tugril is the first of four types of 04 frigates being built for the Pakistan Navy. The two countries signed an agreement in 2012 for a Type 04 frigate. The first warship of this type was built in August 2020, which is now being tested. The Chinese navy has deployed at least 20 Type 03 warships at sea.

Zhang Junshe, a senior researcher at the People's Liberation Army's Naval Research Academy, said the new frigate was capable of providing better air defense compared to the old Chinese frigate because it had better radar systems and was equipped with long-range missiles.
The frigate is reportedly adept at extended surveillance. Warships have tremendous lethality in air and water from ground to ground. Equipped with self-defense capability and electronic warfare system with combat management. According to a Global Times report, the Tughril class frigate will play a key role in strengthening Pakistan's naval capabilities for maritime defense, peacekeeping, stability and balance of power in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea.
Pakistan said the Type 04A / P frigate could carry out combat operations in any environment. The CSSC said the warship is the largest and most advanced warship ever exported by China. In early 2021, Chinese state media reported that the head of Pakistan's navy, Admiral M. Amjad Khan talked to Niazi about buying a warship from China.
China has emerged as the largest arms supplier to the Pakistani military as part of an all-weather strategic alliance with Pakistan. In addition to state-of-the-art naval ships, China has partnered with the Pakistan Air Force to develop JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft. As China has increased its presence in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea in recent years, it has also focused on enhancing Pakistan's naval capabilities.
In addition to developing its first military base at Djibouti in the Horn of Africa in the Indian Ocean, China has also developed the port of Gwadar in the Arabian Sea, which will be connected to China's Xinjiang province by land in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor at a cost of US ૬ 20 billion.
