Once again there is a demand to declare the cow as a national animal. This time, yoga guru Baba Ramdev has demanded before the central government that the cow be declared the national animal of India. Baba Ramdev made the statement while addressing the Go Maha Sammelan in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.

Baba Ramdev, who participated in the program organized by TTD, said that the cow should be declared the national animal of India. The proposal has also been sent by the TTD Trust. "I urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to declare the cow the national animal of the country in writing soon," he said.
