The BJP termed Saturday's meeting of the Congress executive committee as a "family rescue working committee" and alleged that the meeting did not address any internal differences within the party as well as leadership failures. On the contrary, it has spread lies.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia criticized the Congress executive committee meeting, saying nothing was said about the brutal killing of a Dalit man on the Singhu border. He added that due to petty political interests, the Congress has remained silent on important issues. Stating that this Congress Executive Committee is nothing special than the Parivar Bachao Executive Committee, he alleged that Sonia Gandhi in her address did not answer any of the questions raised in the minds of the people about the Congress governments in various states.
