Temples should be freed from government control and handed over to society: Sangh

Nagpur, Ta. 13
On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh president Mohan Bhagwat called for lifting government restrictions on temples and handing them over to the society. He said that many good deeds and service works are being done by the temples which are under the control of the society. On the other hand, the sale of movable and immovable property of temples under government control is on the rise. It should be stopped.

He said that the property of Hindu temples should be used for the worship of God and for the service and welfare of the Hindu community. It is appropriate and necessary. With this idea in mind, the Hindu society should also pay attention to the fact that the temples, which are the coincidence, management and operation of the temples, become the center of social service culture again. The Hindu community should also think about how it will manage the temples. The wealth of Hindu temples is used by people who do not have faith in Hindu gods and goddesses.
The Union President said that the situation there had improved after the removal of Article 30 from Jammu and Kashmir. "The situation in Jammu and Kashmir has changed since the removal of Article 70, but we have to instill in the people there the feeling that we are the children of India," he said. Attempts to break their morale must be stopped. Government does its job, but community participation is also important. Many problems can only be solved by the initiative of society. Therefore, the information of the immortal truth of the eternal nation, which has been going on since ancient times, should be spread in the society.
It is our culture that embraces, respects and embraces all the languages, creeds and regional diversity of India. Coming out of the narrow confines of our creed, creed, language, caste, etc., we as Indians have to propagate our spiritual beliefs, the specialty of the system of worship, in every other way we are the descendants of the same ancestors who grew up in an eternal nation, a society, a culture. He also mentioned heroes like Hasan Khan Mewati, Hakim Khan Sur, Khudabakhsh and Gaus Khan and revolutionaries like Ashfaq Ullah Khan and said that all these are exemplary for the country.
