Six civilians injured in terror attack in Kashmir, attacker absconding


Poonch operation completed 16 days

Several weapons hidden by the terrorists were seized during the search operation in the forests

Bandipora: A grenade attack was carried out by terrorists in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir, in which six civilians were injured. The grenade attack took place at 10.20am.

Terrorists hurled a grenade near the Sumbal bus stand in Bandipora and fled, injuring a total of six civilians who are being treated. The anti-terrorist operation has been going on for the last 16 days in Surankot forest in Poonch and Rajouri.

Nine people have been killed so far in the operation, while several militants have also been killed. Recently a Pakistani terrorist was killed. One AK rifle and 29 rounds as well as two grenades were found recently. There are reports of terrorists hiding weapons here. Also some blankets, tiffins etc. were seized.
