PM Modi will raise issues of climate change and Afghanistan during his Europe tour

During his five-day tour of Europe, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will focus on a joint global approach to tackling the Corona epidemic and climate change challenges at the two-day G20 summit in Italy starting October 30. Prime Minister Modi's tour of Europe will start on October 9 and he will return home on November 2. During this time, he will attend the 16th G20 summit and the COP-2 World Leaders Summit, the External Affairs Ministry said. After the success of his US tour, Modi's Europe tour is also likely to be a success.
Sources said that at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Prime Minister Modi will attend the 19th G20 summit on October 20-21. "India will host the G20 summit for the first time in 205," the foreign ministry said. At the G20 summit, global leaders will discuss challenging issues and solutions, such as the Corona epidemic, climate change and global poverty and inequality in many parts of the world. The current situation in Afghanistan is also expected to be discussed at the meeting.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to present India's vision for tackling the challenges facing the world and call for a joint approach to the current situation in Afghanistan as well as the Corona epidemic and climate change. PM Modi will attend the eighth G-20 meeting.
The G20 has emerged as a leading global forum for international economic cooperation. The theme of the G20 Summit this time is 'People, Planet, Prosperity' (People, Earth, Prosperity) focusing on areas of improvement from the Corona epidemic and strengthening global health governance.
During his visit to Europe, Modi will also hold bilateral meetings with several countries, including Drighe in Italy and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the foreign ministry said. From Rome, Modi will attend the 9th Conference of the Parties (COP-2) World Leaders Summit in Paris from October 21 to November 9. The UN summit will be attended by heads of government from more than 150 countries. This time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with the heads of several countries, including British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during COP-3. The meeting will focus on boosting trade between the two countries.
