Modi is becoming more powerful as Congress is not serious about politics: Mamata

Panaji, Dt
On the last day of her Goa tour, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee slammed the Congress and the BJP. He said PM Modi would become more powerful as the country's oldest party, the Congress, was not serious about politics. However, the grandfathering of the center will no longer work. Mamata also accused the Congress of not taking a decision on a coalition in Goa. The Trinamool supremo said the country was suffering as a result of Congress not taking decisions. Mamata had said nothing at present about her candidature for the PM's job.
Mamata Banerjee said that Modiji is becoming more powerful because of the Congress. The Congress got the first chance, but it was busy fighting against me instead of the BJP in my state. Targeting the Center, Mamata said she would no longer run Delhi's grandfathering. Speaking to reporters on the last day of his three-day visit to Goa, he said he would not comment on his claim to the PM's job in 206. He added, "If I can say everything right now, what will I say in the future?" He considered himself the least important person and a street fighter.
The Trinamool Congress has announced to contest all the 20 seats in BJP-ruled Goa. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee had targeted the BJP, saying that the BJP had promised a better day, but now these people have started destroying the country. Inflation is rising in the country. Prices of diesel, petrol, cooking gas are rising. GST is affecting trade, but the BJP is not serious about resolving these issues.
Mamata Banerjee criticized the Congress at a time when senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was also in Goa. Rahul Gandhi started the Congress election campaign in the state. Election strategist Prashant Kishor recently said that the BJP would remain at the Center for decades. Asked about his statement, Mamata said, "I think he wants to say that if we want to defeat the BJP, we have to give it a strong fight."
Trinamool has shown a positive attitude on the issue of sharing seats with regional parties in the state elections. Mamata said she wanted the regional parties to be stronger. After arriving in Goa on Thursday evening, Mamata Banerjee held meetings with local party leaders and other politicians. "The unity of the opposition is important to oust the BJP from power," she said. Before meeting Mamata Banerjee, Vijay Sardesai tweeted that he has been working to build a strong team against the BJP for the last three years. The unity of the opposition is important to end this corrupt and sectarian regime. Let's get serious about 202. I will meet Mamata Banerjee with her talking friends.
