India made history, vaccination figure crossed 100 crore

India has made history by crossing the milestone of delivering 100 crore doses of anti-coro vaccine across the country in just a short span of nine months. The nationwide vaccination drive was launched in the country on January 14 and in just nine months, India has achieved a great deal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the achievement of vaccination as a victory for Indian science, industry and the collective spirit of 120 crore Indians. "We have a strong shield to fight the biggest epidemic in 100 years," he said. PM Modi reached Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on this occasion.
On the occasion of giving 100 crore doses of anti-coro vaccine in the country, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandvia tweeted that congratulations to the country for achieving this feat. This achievement is the result of the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "Congratulations India," he wrote. The regional director of the health organization in South-East Asia, Dr. Poonam Khetrapal Singh congratulated India for this achievement and said that this would not have been possible without strong political leadership.
According to official sources, approximately 5 per cent of the vaccinated adults in the country have been given at least one dose of anti-coronary vaccine while 21 per cent have been given both doses of the vaccine. As the number of doses given under the National Vaccination Campaign reached 100 crore, the country's largest khadi tricolor was hoisted at the Red Fort on Thursday. He added that the tricolor is 9 feet long and 150 feet wide and weighs about 1,200 kg. He added that the tricolor was unfurled in Leh on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
Mansukh Mandvia appealed to the people eligible to be vaccinated to get vaccinated without any delay and to contribute to India’s historic vaccination tour. A number of programs have been planned in India as part of the celebration of 100 crore doses under the vaccination campaign. On this occasion, Mandvia released a song and a film by singer Kailash Kher from Lal Qila.
The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will illuminate 100 of its monuments in the colors of the national flag. ASI officials said the celebration would be held to honor health workers, scientists, vaccine makers and citizens of the country who have been at the forefront of the fight against corona. These people have bravely faced the Corona epidemic.
SpiceJet on Thursday issued a special uniform at the Delhi airport on the achievement of 100 crore doses. Health Minister, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and SpiceJet CEO Ajay Singh were present on the occasion. Earlier, Mandvia had said that when India achieves 100 crore doses of the vaccine, it will be announced on airplanes, ships, metros and railway stations.
According to the Union Ministry of Health, 100 million doses were given in the first three days of the vaccination campaign in the country, then India touched the 400 million dose three days later and the number reached 200 million two days later. It took eight days for the country to reach 300 million to 400 million doses, and another 60 days later, on August 6, the number of vaccine doses in the country rose to 200 million. After that, it took 3 days for the country to reach the 100 crore dose. The nationwide vaccination drive in the country started on January 16 and in the first phase, health workers were vaccinated. Vaccination of Corona Warriors then began on February 2.
The next phase of the anti-coronary vaccination campaign began on March 1, with vaccinations being given to people over the age of 50 and people over the age of five with serious illnesses. Vaccination of all people above the age of 5 years in the country started from 1st April and vaccination of people above 18 years of age was started from 1st May.
