According to the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, according to information released by Pakistan, China is going to spend about three and a half billion dollars behind this project. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman also confirmed the reports. The plan of Karachi Port includes development of port, development of other ports for fishing and establishment of trade zone in an area of ​​640 hectares.

There will also be a bridge that will connect the port of Karachi with Manora Island.
