Coimbatore: A 28-year-old female officer of the Air Force Administrative College here, who has already been sexually harassed, has leveled serious allegations against Air Force authorities, including forcing her to pass a restricted finger test and withdrawing a complaint against a flight lieutenant. .

The incident took place on September 10 when the woman officer lodged a complaint with the Air Force authorities, including the college commandant, but no action was taken by the authorities till September 20. Finally, the woman officer lodged a complaint at the All Woman Police Station here. Was in which all these allegations are mentioned.

The woman officer also alleged that she was forced to undergo a two-finger test at an Air Force hospital to determine if she had been raped, but the Supreme Court banned the finger test years ago.

However, the police arrested the accused Amitesh Harmukh on September 25 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the woman officer and remanded him behind bars. Both the plaintiff and the accused come from the state of Chhattisgarh and both came to the college here for their training.

The two were sexually harassed by an intoxicated Air Force officer at a party held at the officers' mess on September 9. The next morning the woman officer complained to the commandant of the college but no action was taken against the accused from the college for 10 days.
