Veteran journalist and former Rajya Sabha MP Chandan Mitra dies


New Delhi: Veteran journalist and former Rajya Sabha MP Chandan Mitra died at his residence in south Delhi on Wednesday at the age of 65 after a long illness. His son Kushan confirmed the news of his demise by tweeting on Thursday.

Many political leaders and dignitaries, including President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, paid tributes to Mitra, who became famous for his highly accurate political views. Chandan Mitra will always be remembered for his sharp intellect and intuition.
