Vaccination of children in India may also start from October

- The world's first plasmid-DNA based vaccine will be developed

- Children above 12 years of age will not need any injection to get this vaccine

New Delhi: Vaccination of children in India may start soon. Millions of vaccines are now being produced in India in a single day, so that the questions raised in the past about the shortage of vaccines seem to be disappearing.

Sources who are closely monitoring the production of children's vaccines said that children and adolescents aged 15 years and above will be eligible for the Covid-12 vaccine from next month, i.e. October. He said that with the launch of Cadillac Healthcare's Zykovi-D vaccine, the chances of vaccinating children appear to be deteriorating.

The world's first DNA-based vaccine, Zykovy-D, was approved by the Indian regulatory agency last month for use in emergencies. Sources also said that the company, which manufactures vaccines for children, has the capacity to produce 10 million doses of the vaccine in a single month. Although the Union Ministry of Health has not yet made any official announcement about the vaccine for children, one thing is quite clear that there is currently no other vaccine available for children in India except Cadillac Zykovi-D.

Although the central government has not yet made any official announcement on the vaccine for children, the Indian government's own drug regulatory agency gave the green light to the Cadillac vaccine for emergency use on August 30, indirectly signaling that India will be 18 years old in a very short time. So older children and adolescents can be protected from the covid vaccine. The special feature of this vaccine is that it is a plasmid DNA corona vaccine. There will be no need for injections to administer this three-dose vaccine. The second dose should be taken 3 days after the first dose and then the third dose after 3 days.
