Dehradun: The Chardham Yatra has been started following the guidelines of Corona. A large number of pilgrims have started arriving in Uttarakhand for this pilgrimage. As a result, the tourism sector here has also started thriving again.

Harish Gowde, Devsruthanam board media in-charge, said a large number of pilgrims had started arriving from Saturday. The pilgrimage to Chardham, which started late, will continue till mid-November.

Following the commencement of the Chardham Yatra, happiness was seen on the faces of the merchants of all the shrines. The state government was also under pressure to start the Chardham Yatra early. However, the gates of the pilgrimage were opened only in the month of May.

The Uttarakhand High Court has lifted the stay on the Chardham yatra due to the Koro epidemic, following which the state government decided to resume the yatra. By four o'clock on the first day, 419 people had reached Badrinath and Kedarnath. While a large number of people also came to other shrines.
