Patidars should not be included in OBC, give separate reservation

Union Minister Athavale broke the hive of controversy

Some people don't like Dalits to dress well, sit on horses, Dalits are persecuted today: Athavale

Ahmedabad: On the one hand, the size of Patidar ministers in Modi's cabinet has been increased in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections.

Union Minister Athavale, who is on a one-day visit to Ahmedabad, has raised anti-Patidar tone in Gujarat politics. Not only that, politics has started on the issue of Patidar reservation. Union Minister Ramdas Athavale had sparked controversy on the issue of reservation when the Union government enacted the OBC reservation law in the Lok Sabha and paved the way for reservation to the Patidars.

"The decision of the ABC is right but it does not benefit the society," Ramdas Athavale, who is on a visit to Ahmedabad, told reporters. The Central Government should enact a law to provide reserve benefits to those earning less than Rs 8 lakh. Patidars should not be included in OBC. The government reserves by creating separate quotas and categories.

Mentioning that injustice and atrocities are being perpetrated on Dalits not only in Gujarat but all over the country, Athavale said that some people do not like Dalits to dress well and sit on horses. There is caste system in the whole country. The government is working towards getting justice to the people.

1 lakh interracial marriages are taking place across the country. He further said that the Congress was opposing the issue of sale of property. In fact, the decision to privatize was taken by the Congress. Now Congress is doing politics. Athavale expressed confidence that the NDA, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would get 350 seats in 2024.

In the coming days, the four state assembly elections will be held in alliance with the BJP. Our party will support BJP in Gujarat Assembly elections. The Modi government has done important work in the last 7 years. Athavale praised the government's work on vaccinations, starting with the Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana.

Nitin Patel says: Hindu population should not be reduced, Athavale says, make a law for one family, one child

On the one hand, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said from the public platform that if the population of Hindus decreases, the Lok Sabha, the law, the court-office will all come to an end. While in Ahmedabad today, Union Minister Athavale made it clear that a one-family-one-child law should be enacted in the country now.

There is a contradiction between the statements of two leaders of the same party. While one BJP minister is in favor of increasing the population of Hindus, another is of the view that strict measures should be taken for population control. Athavale said in no uncertain terms that Prime Minister Modi would take the final decision for a law.
