Pakistan prepares to build 500 nuclear weapons to attack India

Washington, Dt

Pakistan, which has been dreaming of spreading chaos in India with the Taliban coming to power in Afghanistan, is dangerously producing nuclear weapons, including nuclear bombs and missiles, according to a report in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. On the other hand, amid border disputes with India from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh, China has decided to build 20 airports on the Indian border, Tibet near Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Xinjiang for speedy deployment of troops. These steps by China and Pakistan point to impending dangers for India.

A recent report by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists states that if Pakistan continues to develop nuclear weapons at the same rate, it will have an estimated 500 nuclear weapons by 203. Pakistan, India's biggest enemy, currently has about 15 nuclear weapons. Not only that, Pakistan is constantly increasing its missile and air power to strike these nuclear weapons.

A team of nuclear scientists has examined Pakistani military bases and air force bases with the help of satellite images. It is clear that General Kamar Bajwa's army is building new launchers and facilities, which may be associated with their nuclear force. The director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency also said in a statement to the US Congress in April that Pakistan could increase its nuclear arsenal by 2021. Pakistan is moving in this direction and developing a number of systems that will increase its ability to drop nuclear bombs.

The report said that Pakistan has four plutonium production reactors and is increasing its uranium enrichment. Pakistan could significantly increase its nuclear arsenal in the next 10 years. However, it will depend on how many nuclear bombs it deploys and how much India's nuclear power increases. Scientists estimate that Pakistan could become the world's third largest nuclear power in a decade, but we believe that this estimate is too high.

Former Pakistani military officials say Pakistan's nuclear strategy is intended to respond to India's "cold start" strategy. If India launches a massive attack on Pakistan or captures its territories, the military will respond with a nuclear attack. Pakistan has Mirage fighter jets, Abdali, Ghaznavi, Shaheen, Ghori, Nasr, Ababil ballistic missiles for nuclear attack. Apart from this, Pakistan also has Babur cruise missiles and Babur missiles that can be launched from the sea.

Pakistan is focusing on building low-capacity strategic nuclear bombs. The advantage is that if Pakistan drops a nuclear bomb on a city like Delhi, its effects will not reach Pakistan. Hence, Pakistan's growing nuclear power is a matter of concern for India.

On the other hand, to encircle India, China is developing about 20 airports near the Indian border, some of which have already been completed and are being used while others are being prepared. The primary purpose of these airports is the rapid transfer of troops. The three airports to be built in Tibet by China are in Lunze, Tingdi and Burang counties, which are close to the Indian border. In addition, a strategic airport will open in Tashkent next year. It will be the first super-high plateau airport to be built in the Pamir Plateau area of Xinjiang. The airport will be near the border of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Afghanistan. Transportation of troops from airports in border areas will be facilitated.
