In fact, some time ago, a part of the adjoining inn was demolished by the temple guards with the intention of occupying the temple land. Hearing the plea of ​​Jamia Nagar ward committee chief Syed Fojul Azim (Arshi), a bench of Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva said that according to the layout, there was a temple at the site and encroachment was not allowed.

The Delhi High Court also directed the Delhi government, police chief, South MCD and Jamia Nagar police station in-charge to ensure that no encroachment is made on the temple complex in future.
