Jharkhand: Gangrape with Sagira returning from fair, police arrest two accused

A case of gang rape with Sagira has come up in Jharkhand's Dumka district. The incident took place on the night of August 17 where Sagira, who was returning after seeing the fair, was lured by 10 youths from the village.

Currently, the police have arrested two youths involved in the incident on the victim's statement in the case while eight accused are still absconding. Police are keeping a close watch around the village for his arrest.

Kidnapped and carried out the incident

According to sources, the incident took place in Masalia Thana area of ​​Dumka district where the victim was returning home on August 17 after seeing the Mansa fair. Seeing the victim alone, 10 youths from the village abducted her in the middle of the road and took her to Susam area.

He committed atrocities with the victim all night. In the morning, the victim reached her home but did not inform her relatives about the incident for fear of being killed.

Information given after ill health

However, three days after the incident, the girl's health deteriorated and she informed her sister about the whole incident. The sister took the incident to the panchayat but the case was not resolved in the panchayat.

The victim lodged a case against five nominees and five unknowns at the local police station on August 27. Masalia police have arrested two accused in the case and sent them to jail.
