India will resume vaccine exports to help the world fight corona

New Delhi: There have been 30,256 cases of corona virus in India. While the number of active cases has come down to 3.18 lakh. The death toll from the corona, on the other hand, has risen to close to 4.45 lakh. Corona killed 295 people in just 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases dropped to 13977. Corona had 11,77,607 tests on Sunday. This brought the total number of tests to 55,36,21,766. The daily positivity rate is also currently 2.57 per cent. In the last 21 days, this percentage has been below three percent.

According to the Center, 79.58 crore doses of vaccine have been given to the States and Union Territories. While 1.5 million doses are still being delivered. States currently have more than 50 million doses available. Of the 295 people who died from corona, 152 were from Kerala and 49 from Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, the Union Health Minister said that the export of vaccines from India to foreign countries would be resumed. However only those who have an additional vaccine will be sent. India is also going to help in tackling the global cholera epidemic for the purpose of which the vaccine will be allowed to be exported abroad.
